San Kulpa for the year 2017

For the year 2017 I want to be have a more positive attitude and worry less. I think with everything going on in life you can't be negative all the time.Becasue then later on that can make you have bad thoughts like sucidal and more thoughts like that.I also want to try not to be so sarcastic and sassy.I don't purposely try to be sassy or sarcastic to people but it just happens.It happens mostly with my friends.I would never disrespect a teacher like that or almost any adult like that.But I'm not gonna lie it does happen every once in a while.But mainly this is something I want to work on and I'm gonna do my best to accomplish.

Discrimination toward immigrants

It's a normal day ,2 parents are getting ready to go to work and their U.S born children are getting It's It's a normal day ,2 parents are gettingready to go to school.Little did they know what was about to happen.A strange knock on the door alerted the family.The parents went to answer the door.There were these two men standing saying they were from immigration and that they need to come with them The parents worry that their family is going to be split up.Would their children be forced to leave with them and leave their normal lives behind? Or would the kids be left to stay in foster care or a group home?

There are 11 million immigrants in the United States, although nobody really knows if that's how many there are.Six hundred thousand Mexican heritage people are in Chicago.All over the United States there are families being split up because of immigration issuesThere are many more ways of being racist it goes far beyond skin color.

The story of America is Christopher Columbus sailed the ocean blue and discovered America.Before the Europeans,Latinos,Asians came the only people who were here first were the Native Americans.Everyone has a story weather it's from being U.S born or coming to America for a better life.But here's the question why are American's or whites superior than everyone else ?In the Constitution it says "All men are created equally" how is that true when people are being discriminated against based on where they come from.

Donald Trump has been known to be a racist and example in towards muslims.Many people think muslim is a race but it's not it's a religion.Which lead to believe if muslim isn't a race how could one be racist if it's not a race.Cultural racism is what this called discrimination against a person beliefs, where they from, tradition's etc.The religion muslim is made of many races you could be white and be a muslim still.

They’re rapists."This suggest that their are many different type of stereotypes against immigrants .Yes, it  true that some people who enter the U.S are bringing good things but there are people out there who want to improve there life and get more opportunities.

Treasures

For my sisters 20th birthday I got her this jewelry box.It was about the time when school was going to start and I was planing on buying my backpack that day.But I first went to go see how much the bag I wanted was and then I decided I would go see what I could give my sisters for her birthday.I found this really cute jewelry box and I was planning on getting her something else but I really wanted to get that for her so I choose to get my sister a gift and no the backpack.Then later of Christmas she gave me a jewelry box also.It has engraved on it" " .So I really think that something special that me and my sister share.Anothe really special gift I have gotten was my necklace with my name on it.It has a lot sentimental value to me and it always gonna be something I cherish forever and it's a memory of my godfather so in a way it's a part of him and me.Those are gift that are very speaical to me.

The Meaning of My Name

My name is Ashley and my sister named me. Back then the show full house was playing and my sisters loved the show.Originially my names was to be Luisa after my dads mom.But my mom never really liked the idea of naming someone after someone.Because the person being named has their own identity.Which is where my oldest sister decided to give my mom a name and that name was Ashley.Michelle was the little girl in Full House but her real name was Ashley Olsen.So I'm named after Ashley Olsen.I have my dads last name which means like a wall.Its a Spanish origin.My moms last name I believe my uncle told me it means short people standing on rocks which always makes me laugh.

This quote means so much to me because I think everyone has gone throug tough times.It basically means that the tough time come and go.But the only thing that stays is you.You might be the same before and after a tough situation.Also because every situation is different some are not as bad and some are terriable.I think this quote give people hope that the tough times end but to be strong throught them.It makes people want to be strong thought these tough times and persevere through the tough time.Out of al the quotes this is the one that stuck with me.It connects with cause we have those rough patches but it reminds me to preserve though it.This is one quote has so much meaning to me.

Brother In Arms is written by Paul Langan and Ben Alirez.This book is actually apart of a series called Blueford Series.Martin Luna is head down a bad road and let's just say this trouble he's into isn't so easy to get out of.Just months ago something terriable happen to little brother that changed Martins world.Martin is just another Chicano kid from the barrio.Of course everyone thinks he's dangerous. This image of Martin follows him to his new school "Blueford High". Martin snuggles with picking his new start or his old life which caused something terriable to happen to his younger brother.Or starting over like his moms want him to start over.But he finds himself that he is falling back into his old life.Will he go back to his old life or pursue his new life?

"Never let things you WANT forget the things you HAVE"

I'm thankful for my mom and my sisters.My mom means so much to me I honestly don't know if I can live without her.But I will say one thing you'll never be bored when your with her.She's always making fun of me or my sisters or just doing something weird.If not her and my sister Karen gain up on me.I find it amazing that my mom and my sister Karen are so alike.My oldest sister Cristal annoys me to death at times but I'm still grateful for her.Although with her I'm normally the one to gain up on her.She always finds it annoying when me and my sister Karen start to play fight with each other.Although we may not be as close as me and my other sister Karen I still love her.I'm also thankful for my best friends. I have four amazing best friends I honestly don't know what I would do without them.I don't really have anything else to be thankful for except the life.The life god gave.Which is the most important think in my personal opinion.With god we would have the clothes on our backs,the food we eat,the roof over our heads etc.I have many things to be thankful this thanksgiving but these people are the most important to me.

Best day ever!!!l

Normally the best day ever is like a persons birthday or a holiday. I personally consider a regular day the best day. The best day ever way when I got to go to the mall with my best friends. Well anytime I get tos spend with my best friends is good because we're always laughing and just having a good time. That day we laughted so much my stomach hurt and I was crying. One week into summer vacation we already needed to see each other. Of course every person like to spend time with there friends pot best friends. But this day felt like I could see a lifetime of friendship ahead. We did everything from try in things to make fun of each other and overall make each other laugh. It was the hardest thing when they left home and only two of us were left. I wish every day could be like that nonstop laughing and smiling. If I could go back in time I'm 100% sure I would go back to that day.

Sportily Banned, Middle School Kids Furious!

Ever wonder if a student is really paying attention? A group of students from Heritage Middle School used technology in an improper way. This event took place towards the end of the school year. There are many ways of instant messaging with other people in the building or even outside of the building. These student in particular used the app called "Spotify". Spotify is an app in which you can listen to music. But you can do more than that you can also instant message with other people. Once the teachers found out about the problem with this app they were furious and loony. To think that they were teaching and the students weren't even paying attention or getting any work done. Could this be the reason some students weren't doing good in class? Even to think that students could've been talking with someone outside of the building/room is crazy.
The teachers came together and made a plan on how they would deal with the situation. Of course they went back and forth on how they would approach the situation. But it was also hard to choose what to do because the students could find somewhere else to message with there peers. Finally the teachers decided they would ban Spotify not even to be listening to music only. Before that they made sure anyone that had the app would uninstall it off of their device. .At the time if they had it would received an instant foul. Anytime after that if they were caught  using Spotify they would revive a falcon foul. For those students using technology inappropriately revived a detention. What was going on spread quickly around the school. Of course the students found it irritating and were angry.Then later on they also  they question why they don't have a good grade in class. Although annoyed with the teachers could have it been the best call to ban Spotify . If the students were smart they wouldn't use it or else they would face the consequenc

The Outsiders

My character from "The Outsiders" was Darry or Darrel.At the beginging of the book Darry seems to be mean and tough.But toward the end of the book he softened up a little.Darry is six feet-two and has broad shoulders and muscular.He has the whole superman look going on.In fact the gang even calls him superman from time to time.Like his other two brothers he has brown hair.His eyes are kinda like soda's eyes they look like pale blue- green ice but his eyes seem to be very cold.Darry is tough and cool and smart.Even smart enough to be a soc.But if it weren't for the gang and his brother Darry would been a soc.He's too smart to be a soc.Darry is tough he's not really what you would call sensitive or caring at the beginging of the book. Ponyboy says he was always ruff with him without meaning to be.Whenever he said sorry he really didnt mean it he was never sorry.Darry is what you would call a work alcoholic.But his motivations are to his brothers soda and ponyboy he wants what best for them and give them everything they need.But at times soda and ponyboy drive him nuts he sure would like to take both of there knock both of their heads together.Ponyboy and darry argue a lot but that's also because he wants to always be pleased and ponyboy can't be pleasing him all the time.All in all darry is a mysterious person but later on towards the book he starts to show the real darry.

A Walk Down Memory Lane

I don't quiet remember everything about my childhood but there's certain things I do remember. My favorite movies growing up were all the older disney movies. The movies that were created around the time I was born which is 2003. These movies conist of Zenon,Smart House,The Quiets,Halloween town,The Even Stevens Movie those are a couple out of many. One thing I remember from my childhood is watching Holloweentown and,The Santa Clause movies. I remember everytime they came out which was either Halloween or Christmas me and my sister karen would always watch them. No matter now may times we have watched them in the month or even if it wasn't holloween or Christmas time. The same went for the shows I watched as a child except I would watch all the new episodes and re-watch the old episodes. My all time favorite show as a child was Lilo and Stitch the show. Most people don't really know that there was show and not just the movies. Other shows I watch were That's so Raven,Suite Life of Zack & Cody,The Proud Family,Cory in the House,Wizards so Waverly Place and many more. These are all things I watched with my sister karen. But things like watching Holloweentown and The Santas Clause movies is still something we do to this very day. I most definitely thing this is something I would do for the rest of my life and maybe share it with my future children. Those are very special memories I have with my sister when growing up and I hope we make more memories.

Blog tips

Use more images. In any blogs it's important to use visuals. Images can keep the blog entertaining and not just totally cliche. I also think that it can make you more intertead in what the person is writing about. But you also don't want to have so many images. They have to be relevant to the topic your talking about. Another good tip is be prepared for feedback. Obviously not all feedback is gonna be positive. In any public setting not all people are gonna be the nicest. There will be negative feedback but that's okay because then you can fix the thing you may be doing wrong. You can also use the positive feedback to let you know what your readers want or like. But negative feedback can cause concflict at times. So if it makes you uncomfortable tell your teacher or resolve it on your own if it's you're own blog. But put on the positive side of negative side it give the opportunity to your fans to stick up for your or for you to be an advocate. Those are two main tips I think are important when blogging.

Future Trip!

I want to travel the world and see different thing from our history. But a place I've been dying to see is The Anne Frank House. I want to go to the Netherlands. The one reason I want to go to the Netherlands is to see The Anne Frank House. I think it would be an interesting experience to see where one a group of people hid for two years. But also because I like anything that has to do with world War II. Also I want to see a different culture try different things. I also counting on that there would be several other historical places that have to do with World War II. To see a place that was once filled with terror. But also I would want to see the different art museums they have like the "Van Gogh Museum". Get away from such a large and busy city and experience a different type of atmosphere. Will it be busy?traffic?How will it look? These are all questions I ask myself now because I haven't been there. Another thing is you can visit the Nazi concentration camps. Just reading about it isn't enough as seeing the actual place where innocent people died Visiting these place will always be an experience I will never forget.

Book Blog

     Quentin"Q"Jacobsen has loved Margo Roth Spieglman for a life time but from afar. But one night that all changed when Margo comes back into Quentin's life. Margo is at Quentin's window asking for helo to get revenge on the people in high school. So Quentin decides to help Margo and drive her around. After the all nighter the next day Margo never showed up to school and the next couple days. Margo has ran away from home. Quentin then later on finds an address and decides to skip graduation along with Ben,Lacey,And Rader. They find Margo living in a barn.Margo was shocked when she saw them because she saw them because the clues she left behind weren't intended to find her. Quentin later realizes that he didn't expect Margo to live up to the image he had of her. Margo tells "Q" to come with her to New York. But "Q" say he has a life back in Orlando.But they do admit to one another they love each other. What will happen with Margo and Quentin?
     Quentin "Q" Jacobsen is the main character of "Paper Towns". Quentin has two parents who are both professionals and have jobs. Quentin lives a normal life. But one thing complicates this picture and it is Margo Roth Spiegelman and she is not normal. Quentin says he's okay with being normal but if this was true would he chase Margo across the country. But Quentin often does the opposite if what he says which makes him hypocritical sometimes.When Margo disappears Quentin steps out of his comfort zone and decides to go on an adventures to find Margo. Quentin is a god student and study's hard and worries about collage. But yet again he skips out on graduation.In the text it said "I can"t imagine a happiness without her,the ability to let her go,to feel our roots are connected even if i never see that leaf again". This means Quentin Jacobsen learn that the destination what really matters is the trip so what really matters. Quentin "Q" Jacobsen is the main character of the book "Paper Towns". Although he can by hypocritical at times and make unpredictable choices he is the one unique character in the book "Paper Towns".

In 10 Years

I wanna travel the world because I feel I have a lot left in the world to experience. I want to see the colosseum and the pyramids of Giza those type of things because I'm into history. I most definitely plan on going to college. I'm not really sure which school I want to go to. But I know i want to go into be a business major and something that has to do with art. But I've also considered being a detective or a teacher. But who really knows what the future has in story for us. I've been inspired to be an art major because it something and I like to drawing and things like that. But I'm not also just doing it for me. I wanna be an art major and prove everyone wrong that has said  "I can't" or "it will just be a waist of time and money. At first being business never was something  thing I never took interested in. But I took interest in it because I'm good with money and math. I've also heard that they make good money. I do want a family some day. But I do think I should get my life together first. I don't want to have a family at a younger age but I also don't wanna start a family at such an old age. I have a dream of leaving something of mine behind. Like a skyscraper of a sculpture downtown. I'm very into skyscrapers so I think I would leave a building of mine and it's also something unique to me. Another dream I have of having a tiny house kinda like a trailer. I want a tiny house because I think I wanna move all over the county. I don't like the idea of staying in one place my whole life. These are the goals of mine and where I see myself in 10 years.
